The term "Personal Data" refers to personally identifiable information about you, such as your name, address, e-mail address, or telephone number.
3. Collection of Personal Data
You may provide us with your Personal Data in order to receive information or services from us. The information submitted to us will usually take one or more of the following forms: Registration to participate in our on-line games, visits to our websites (including personal traffic data, personal location data, weblogs and other personal communication data), details of transactions you carry out through our site and the fulfilment of orders (including subscribing to any of our on-line games and/or other services), message board/forum posts or registration, contests, surveys and customer or technical support. We may request personal information about you including your name, address, email address and, telephone number and we may ask for information which enables us to provide a personalized service to you. The information you give us is either manually or electronically stored in our databases.
We sometimes supplement the information that you provide with information that is received from third parties. For instance, if inaccurate postcodes are received, we will use third party software to fix them.

For some activities, we may ask for other non personal information, such as username, password, and game name and, combine such information with your Personal Data. In addition, your client software (i.e. software that you will be required to install in order to operate some of our games) or web browser may transmit certain geographic information or information regarding your computer (capabilities, game data processing, etc.) to us. We may use this information to generate aggregate statistics about our user community and may provide such non-personal information to advertisers and/or our partners. In addition, we may use such information for security, system integrity (including the prevention of hacking and cheating), or intellectual property protection or enforcement purposes.

6. Anonymous data collected through our websites
In addition to the information we collect as described above, we use technology to collect anonymous information about the use of our websites. For example, we use technology to track which pages of our websites our visitors view. We also use technology to determine which web browsers our visitors use. This technology does not identify you personally; it simply enables us to compile statistics about our visitors and their use of our websites.
We use this anonymous data to improve the content and functionality of our websites and our e-mail updates, to better understand our customers and visitors, and to improve the services we offer.
8. IP Address
An IP address is a numeric code that identifies your computer on a network, or in this case, the Internet. We may track your IP address for, security, site tracking, administration of our websites or services, to prevent abuse of our game servers, or to gather broad demographic information such as determining how many of our visitors are from outside of the UK.
We may also perform IP lookups to determine which domain you are coming from (i.e: aol.com, yourcompany.com) to more accurately gauge our users' demographics.

Children Under 13
We feel under a particular obligation to protect information obtained from young children. We would strongly urge parents to instruct their children never to disclose their real name, their address or their telephone number while they are on-line without prior permission. No information should be transmitted to Firefly by minors aged 12 years or under. Firefly will not collect or knowingly process Personal Data provided by minors aged 12 years or under.
We will request that a child of 12 years old or under provide their parent or guardian’s email address if they wish to engage in online activities on our Websites or use our services so that we are able to notify the parent or guardian and obtain prior permission or other verifiable consent.

We strive to maintain the reliability, accuracy, completeness and currency of Personal Data in our databases and to protect the privacy and security of our databases. The security measures in place on our websites and computer systems, aim to protect the loss, misuse or alteration of the information you provide to us. We keep your Personal Data only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes for which it was collected or to comply with any applicable legal or regulatory requirements, or our data retention policy. Although we will use reasonable efforts to safeguard the privacy of your information, transmissions on the Internet cannot be made absolutely secure. Upon receipt of your written request and enough information to permit us to identify your Personal Data, we will (subject to the exceptions to the requirement to disclose under the DPA) disclose to you the Personal Data we hold about you, for which we may make a small charge.
Requests to delete Personal Data are subject to any applicable legal and regulatory requirements or document retention obligations and any of our current contracts which are still in force.

13. Inaccurate Data
We encourage you to ensure that your Personal Data is accurate and kept up to date so please regularly update any information you have given to us by sending an email to email@example.com, or by writing to us. We will correct, amend or delete any Personal Data that you notify us is inaccurate and notify any third party recipients of necessary changes.

Our websites contain hyperlinks to other pages on our websites. We may use technology to track how often these links are used and which pages on our websites our visitors choose to view. Again this technology does not identify you personally – it simply enables us to compile statistics about the use of these hyperlinks.
15. Transfer of Data Abroad
We may transfer and store your Personal Data between members of the FireFly group of companies, and our offices and third party processors which may be located outside the EEA. Where your Personal Data is transferred and stored outside the EEA we will ensure that the recipient agrees to keep your information confidential and hold it securely in accordance with the requirements of the DPA.

In any marketing or promotional communications we send to you, we will give you the opportunity to withdraw your consent to receiving such communications in the future.
